Sarah J.

I am an experienced high school and HSC English teacher of 5+ years offering personalised tutoring for Years 7-12. I have experience teaching HSC English Standard, Advanced, and Studies, as well as Years 7-10. I know the skills needed for senior years and how to help students prepare for them early. Each session is tailored towards individual student needs, whether it be organising and breaking down assessment tasks, reading and writing skills, analysis skills or targeted feedback. My sessions are focused on explicit instruction and direct feedback. I am also experienced in Wellbeing support and am able to guide and mentor students through the challenges of high school if required. I can help students feel more confident in their skills in English, often translating into more enjoyment for the subject and stronger marks. If you think your child would be a good fit, I will look forward to hearing from you.
