About
I completed a four-year undergraduate degree specialising in Education, graduating on the Honour Roll and receiving an Academic Award in my first year of university. I then completed my teaching qualification in Wales, where I trained to teach secondary English to students aged 11-18.
English has always been one of my strongest subjects, particularly in reading, writing, literary analysis, and communication. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual needs. I am very understanding and believe that every student learns differently, so I am happy to work at a pace that is best for you.
I remember feeling lost or behind at times during high school, and I know how intimidating it can be to ask for help or start tutoring. Because of this, I strive to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes without judgment. My goal is to help you succeed, achieve the marks you are aiming for, and build the confidence you need to walk into your next lesson feeling prepared and capable. Whether you need support catching up, improving your English skills, preparing for exams, or pushing yourself to reach higher academic goals, I am committed to helping you reach your full potential.
