📚 UNSW Mathematics & Physics Tutor Struggling with difficult concepts, or want to take your marks to the next level? I help students build genuine understanding, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and develop the exam technique needed to tackle unfamiliar questions with confidence. 🎓 My background • ATAR: 99.15 • HSC All-Rounder • Maths Extension 1: 96 • Maths Extension 2: 93 • Physics: 93 • Second-year Mechatronic Engineering / Computer Science student at UNSW • Experience tutoring both junior and senior students, including HSC Mathematics and Physics 💡 My teaching style I focus on making sure students actually understand why something works, rather than just memorising a formula or method. I break difficult concepts down step-by-step, identify gaps in understanding, and then build towards harder exam-style questions. I also place a strong emphasis on exam technique — helping students recognise what a question is asking, structure their working, and approach unfamiliar problems with confidence. 📈 How I can help Whether you're trying to catch up on missed content, improve your marks, or work towards a Band 6, lessons are tailored to the student's current level and specific weaknesses. Sessions can include: 🧠 Explaining difficult concepts from first principles ✏️ Working through exam-style questions 🔍 Identifying and fixing recurring mistakes 🎯 Building problem-solving and exam technique 📖 Targeted practice based on areas that need improvement 📝 Preparing for upcoming assessments and exams I aim to make each lesson practical and focused, with clear goals for what the student should improve between sessions. 📍 Available for both online and in-person tutoring.
