I'm in my second year of a Bachelor of Primary Education at the University of Notre Dame, and I tutor primary students across all subjects as well as English, Science, Geography and PDHPE up to Year 12. The part of my degree I love most is the teaching side. I spend my weeks learning how to explain an idea three different ways until one of them clicks, how to rebuild a kid's confidence after a bad mark, and how to make a lesson something they don't dread turning up to. That's what I bring to every session. I have full-time placement experience teaching Year 3 and Year 5. Before teaching, I studied a Bachelor of Marine Science at the University of Wollongong. I changed direction but I never stopped loving it, so if you're doing Marine Studies, Earth and Environmental Science or Biology, I'm probably the most excited person you'll find about ocean systems, ecosystems and fieldwork.
