Hi, I'm Ishita! I recently completed the IB Diploma with a score of 42/45 (ATAR equivalent 98.85), including 7s in Economics HL, Business HL, and English SL. I'm now studying a Bachelor of Commerce at UNSW, majoring in Finance, with my sights set on a career in mergers and acquisitions. I tutor Economics, Business, and English, and I love these subjects because they reward clear thinking as much as hard knowledge. Having just gone through the IB myself, I understand exactly what examiners are looking for, how the marking criteria actually work, and where students tend to lose marks without realising it. My teaching style is structured but conversational. I break down exam technique step by step (how to build a strong economics essay, structure a business case study response, or unpack an English text analytically) while making sure students genuinely understand the content, not just memorise it. I adapt to how each student learns best, whether that means working through past papers together, building study frameworks from scratch, or focusing on exam-specific writing skills.
