Hi! I’m Elena and I’d love to be your tutor. I’m currently studying Biomedicine with the goal of becoming a surgeon or neurologist. My strongest subjects are Science, History and Drama (an odd mix, I know!). I struggled with organisation and studying in high school, so I know what it’s like to feel behind and overwhelmed. My sessions usually start with a short chat about your week — how your subjects are going and what you’re finding hardest. Then we make a list, break everything down into manageable pieces, and get stuck into the work. We finish by setting a few simple goals for the week, whether they’re study-related or personal. I encourage growth and better organisation, but I’m pretty laid-back and not intimidating at all. As long as we get the work done, that’s what matters. I did Cadets and developed strong leadership skills there, and I’m also a shift manager at KFC, working with young people is definitely one of my strengths. My own grades were strong — I got a high study score in History: Revolutions and my results generally sat in the 80–90 range (D–HD).
