I recieved an offer into UQ medicine after finishing school, and am currently studying a Bachelor of Mathematics at UQ as my premed. Because I've been through the interview process myself, achieving full marks, I understand what MMI assessors are actually looking for, and this is the area I'm most focused on as a tutor. I can help you build genuinely thoughtful answers, work on structure and timing under pressure, and get comfortable thinking on your feet rather than reciting rehearsed responses. Alongside MMI prep, I tutor Specialist Maths and Maths Methods for QCE Units 1 to 4, and maths from Years 7 to 10. I have prior experience tutoring maths and enjoy breaking problems down into their basic logic rather than just handing over a method to memorise, so students walk away actually understanding why something works. My teaching style is patient and structured. I like to figure out where a student's understanding is genuinely at, then build from there step by step, with a strong focus on exam technique and clear written working, since that's often where marks are lost even when the underlying maths is understood. I'm also happy to help with UCAT preparation, which I scored 2410 in with full marks in QR.
