Hi I am Sebastian and I'm currently studying at the University of New South Wales doing a degree in Actuarial Studies (which if you don't know is very math orientated course) and I have previously worked in a tutoring centre for the last 2 years. For the HSC I achieved and ATAR of 97.95 where I completed the following; -Mathematics Advanced 96/100 (whilst I was in year 11) -Mathematics Extension 1 92/100 (whilst I was in year 11) -Mathematics Extension 2 90/100 -Chemistry 91/100 -Physics 89/100 -English Advanced 87/100 I achieved the highest HSC examination marks in Mathematics Advanced (98/100) and Mathematics Extension 2 (91/100) in my school. Tutoring Style: My teaching style is very methodical and deliberate. With me we will examine weak points in content knowledge and address them through practical and time efficient methods. I prioritise getting ahead of your class and being able to material content understanding through consistent long term practise before the class has even finished learning everything. Lessons will follow a well organised structure where you will: - Complete a test based on the previous content we went over. - Learn the next stage of the content with notes being provided. - End the lesson with the student receiving homework on what was learnt during the lesson. This cycles continues until tests come or content is finished. In which students will then follow my guided methodology on how to sit an practise exam and gain the most out of it. Finally as one of my students you will have access to my automated English marker, which uses authentically marked essays including HSC scripts to learn what English markers are looking for and how your essays and question answering ability can be improved to make sure you achieve top marks.
