I have a degree in Applied Science, Aquaculture from the University of Tasmania. I have worked in the Aquaculture industry, with a focus on environmental impact and improvement. I love sea life and nature, so marine biology is a favourite area for me. I have also worked in the Electronics industry and have a certificate 4 in Electronics.
I am currently studying a Masters of Teaching at UTAS and hope to be teaching high school science in 2027. I am also studying minor subjects in Maths and HASS.
I have teenage children on the ASD spectrum and would love to help neurodivergent students enjoy school and do well at their studies. I know school can be hard when you feel like you don't understand what is being asked of you. I'm happy to go back to basics and break down tasks into manageable pieces, or whatever is needed to help students feel confident.
