Hi Everyone! My name is Erina and I graduated from St Columba Anglican School in 2025 with a 95.00 ATAR. I achieved a Band 6 result across English Advanced (93 raw) Ancient History (93 raw) 1st in cohort and Dance (98 raw) 1st in cohort, along with an E3 in English Extension 1 (44/50). Currently I am a first year law student at Macquarie University and have plans on transferring to UNSW in the upcoming year. In my first semester of university, I maintained a Distinction average across my law units :) As for tutoring, I am open to online or in person options and have flexibility in dates across weekdays and weekends. Having just completed the HSC, I'm very familiar with the demands of content-heavy subjects like English Advanced and Ancient History. Throughout Year 12, I developed effective essay frameworks and study techniques that helped me achieve Band 6s in both subjects. I also scored 20/20 in the 2025 English Paper 1 Short Answer section and 18/20 in both my Mod A and Mod B essays. I'd love to share the strategies that helped me achieve these results and support others aiming for a Band 6. For Ancient History, I was the only student in my cohort to achieve a Band 6. I have extensive notes, essay scaffolds and resources, specialising in Pompeii (Cities of Vesuvius), Akhenaten, Sparta, and New Kingdom Egypt (Ramesses II). Pompeii is a common topic across schools, so I can provide targeted support for this as well. For Dance students, I achieved a Band 6 (98), with my HSC Core Composition selected for HSC Dance Callback 2025. I was also invited to speak on the Callback Q&A panel, giving me valuable insight into what examiners look for in top-performing works. In addition, all three of my HSC Dance components—Core Performance, Major Study Performance and Core Composition—were nominated for Callback, so I'm happy to provide guidance across all areas of the course.
