Hi! My name is Armaan Bedi and I graduated from Trinity Grammar School in 2022 with an ATAR of 98.65. I achieved a raw 43 in English in 2022 I achieved a raw 41 (scaled 46) in Mathematical Methods in 2021 I achieved a raw 42 in Physical Education in 2022 I achieved a raw 38 (scaled 50) in Specialist Mathematics in 2022 I achieved a raw 41 (scaled 43) in Physics in 2022, as well as First Class Honours in University Physics I achieved a raw 36 (scaled 40) in Chemistry in 2022, as well as First Class Honours in University Chemistry I am offering tutoring in Year 7-10 Maths, English and Science, as well as VCE Mathematical Methods, Specialist Maths, English, Chemistry, Physics and Physical Education. I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Science/Masters in Engineering Graduate Degree Package at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Mechanical Engineering Systems. Through my degree, I have been able to extend my knowledge of the maths and science based VCE subjects, allowing me to gain a deeper understanding of the content in these areas. I have been tutoring for over 4 years now in both companies and privately, and have been able to help many students with varying abilities achieve their goals. In this way, 80% of my high school students have improved by at least 1 letter grade within a year, and 75% of my VCE students have achieved at least 3 or more above their predicted study score at the start of year 12. I believe that tutoring is more than just teaching, it is about building a rapport with a student to allow them to flourish and feel comfortable asking questions to further their knowledge. Therefore, I believe that 1-on-1 tutoring is most effective. I am happy, however, to accommodate group sessions as I understand some students find this beneficial for their learning. As well as thoroughly planned sessions, I will also allow students access to study and notetaking tips on how to be successful in VCE, as well as notes and resources to help them succeed.
