I am currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Sydney. Outside of my studies, I enjoy reading, going to the gym, and continually challenging myself through learning and personal development. My strongest subjects in high school were English Advanced (92/100), Ancient History (96/100), and Mathematics Advanced (88/100). These subjects helped me develop strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills that I now enjoy sharing with students. My teaching style focuses on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities. For English and humanities subjects, I help students build the skills needed to communicate ideas clearly, structure their writing effectively, and develop thoughtful, high-quality responses, including constructing strong arguments, analysing texts critically, and expressing ideas clearly. Rather than simply providing answers, I aim to teach students the techniques and thought processes that lead to long-term improvement and academic success. For Mathematics, I focus on developing a deep understanding of concepts while strengthening problem-solving skills. I break down difficult topics into manageable steps, ensuring students understand the reasoning behind solutions rather than relying on memorisation. My goal is to help students build confidence, accuracy, and independence when approaching mathematical problems. As a tutor, I can provide personalised support tailored to each student's learning style and goals. Whether a student is aiming to improve their grades, prepare for assessments, strengthen foundational skills, or achieve top academic results, I work closely with them to create effective study strategies and develop the confidence needed to succeed both in the classroom and beyond.
