APPROACH Tailored lessons focus on building strong foundational skills and sophisticated analytical thinking. I aim to develop students' confidence in engaging with complex texts and to strengthen their clarity of expression, building an enduring fascination with literature. For senior students, I emphasize exam technique, structured responses, and close analysis aligned with assessment criteria, alongside deep textual engagement. For younger students, I prioritize reading fluency and expression, comprehension, early exposure to close analysis, and engagement with rich prose. I work with students to identify textual ideas that resonate, refine their essay structure, and approach nuanced texts with assurance.
