Before that I completed a Bachelor of Science (Advanced Studies) majoring in Chemistry at the University of Sydney, graduating with an Academic Merit Prize and a place on the Dean's List for all undergraduate years. Science and English have always been my strongest subjects, and I love helping students find their own footing in it. I've been tutoring since 2014, working with students aged 3 to 15 across English, Science, Maths, Music Theory, Piano Performance. Alongside my degree, I'm also an AMusA-level pianist (with Distinction), so I can offer a genuine musical grounding if that's what you're after. I've represented at a national level in debating and public speaking, so I can also help students build confidence with communication, structuring arguments, and presenting their ideas clearly, skills that carry across subjects well beyond English class. I have also worked as a disability support worker and university peer mentor, so I'm used to adapting my teaching style to suit different ages and learning needs. My approach is patient and focused on building real understanding, not just memorising answers.
