Hello! My name is Charlie and I am a first-year student majoring in Civil Engineering and Finance at the University of Sydney. I provide private Maths lessons online for primary and secondary school students up to Year 10 level. I believe, that, for someone to be good at Maths, they need to understand the subject and not just memorise formulae. Hence my lessons will be geared towards building an understanding of fundamentals and ability to visualise the concepts. It works very well within the context of the NSW curriculum where comprehension of fundamentals is key. I identify the weaknesses in every lesson and tackle them via detailed explanations, examples and exercises. Once the student has developed a sound base, we can move on to working through exam papers if desired. I am more than willing to go through any textbooks or resources you might already possess. My teaching style is more casual, and I will try my best to adjust to your personal preferences regarding speed and material. Since I speak both English and Mandarin, I am capable of conducting lessons in either language. I am available on weekends and especially during holidays. Let me know if you wish to book a lesson!
