I'm Jonathon, an Albany-based online tutor with a Bachelor of Science in Paramedicine and a background in training, mental health and high-pressure problem solving. I'm currently completing a Master of Counselling and a Graduate Certificate in Addiction Studies. I tutor high school students in Maths, English, Science and HASS/Social Studies, and at senior level in Human Biology, Psychology and Health Studies, plus study skills. My style is calm, clear and practical. I help students work out what the task is actually asking, break it into smaller steps, and build answers they understand instead of memorising panic-notes five minutes before it's due. I have personal lived experience with ASD and ADHD, so I understand how differently-wired students actually learn. I don't use a one-size-fits-all approach - pace and structure adapt to the individual. Sessions run online. Available every day from 5pm AWST, including occasional weekends. WWCC, police check and insurance current.
