HSC Results: ATAR - 99.35 Mathematics Extension 1 - 97 Mathematics Extension 2 - 94 Internal Year 12 Results: Biology - 1/101 Mathematics Extension 1 - 20/99 Mathematics Extension 2 - 25/42 Hey! I am Joshua Loty - a 2025 graduate from Knox Grammar School. Currently, I am studying Advanced Science at UNSW majoring in Anatomy. So why should you choose me as a tutor? Being a recent HSC graduate, I am intimately familiar with the realities of life under the barrage of stresses and pressure. I wish to assist my students in not only overcoming these but utilising them to exceed what they believe to be their maximum potential, just as I did. As they say, diamonds are made under pressure! I believe all students have the potential to improve and having undergone my own journey moving from attaining multiples C's in year 10 to my final results, I wish to pass on the tools and lessons I employed myself (tried and tested!). In terms of my specific teaching style, I enjoy building a rapport with students in an environment less formal than the classroom which allows for more open and engaging lessons. I find this method allows for better overall results, where information is better absorbed, and where questions are able to be freely asked. I will of course offer my personal notes which I utilised as a free add on to the first tutoring session! Also note that I have a valid Working With Children Check. Online or in person? I offer both!
