About

Dentistry Student ✨ 98.25 ATAR 🌟 40+ study scores on all subjects ✨ Psychology and English Dux 🌟 College Proxime 2020 Hi! My name is Loujane and I am a third year Dentistry student offering tutoring in VCE English, Psychology, Biology, and general study skills. Having completed VCE in 2020 with a 98.25 ATAR, a study score of 46 in English, 47 in Psychology and 40 on Biology, I understand both the content and the strategies required to succeed in senior secondary studies. However, I believe effective tutoring is about much more than simply teaching content. My approach is highly personalised. I aim to understand each student's interests, strengths, goals, and preferred learning style, then tailor lessons accordingly. Whether a student learns best through visual diagrams, worked examples, structured templates, discussion-based learning, guided practice, or independent problem-solving, I adapt my teaching to suit their needs. I am passionate about helping students see the relevance of what they are learning by connecting study content to their interests, future aspirations, and real-world applications. I have found that students are often more engaged and motivated when they understand why a concept matters and how it relates to their own goals. Alongside my academic achievements, I have over six years of mentoring and student-support experience through leadership and educational programs. Through my work with the Spark Engineering Camp, I have supported high school students with academic challenges, confidence building, organisation, study skills, goal setting, and future pathway planning. My sessions balance structure with flexibility. I believe students perform best when they feel supported while also being appropriately challenged. Lessons may include: • Content revision and concept clarification • Essay writing and text analysis • Exam and SAC preparation • Practice questions and exam-style tasks • Detailed feedback on written work • Study planning and organisation strategies • Revision techniques and note-making skills I also encourage students to begin exam preparation early through structured exercises and progressively challenging exam-style questions. This helps build confidence, reduce stress, and ensure students feel prepared well before assessment periods. I understand that every student learns differently, and some students benefit greatly from face-to-face support. For this reason, I offer in-person tutoring in Bendigo and surrounding areas on select days, as well as Melbourne-based sessions where suitable. Online tutoring is also available and can be tailored to suit individual learning needs. My goal is not only to help students achieve strong academic results, but also to develop the confidence, independence, and study skills that will benefit them beyond VCE. Experience: I am a current Dentistry student with extensive experience mentoring and supporting secondary school students through educational and leadership programs. For over six years, I have worked with high school students in academic, wellbeing, and personal development settings, helping them build confidence, develop effective study habits, manage exam stress, and achieve their goals. Through my leadership role at the Spark Engineering Camp, I have mentored students from diverse backgrounds, supported students experiencing academic and personal challenges, and provided guidance on study skills, organisation, goal setting, and pathways into higher education. My tutoring approach focuses not only on mastering subject content, but also on developing the skills required for long-term academic success, including critical thinking, exam technique, essay writing, revision strategies, and confidence.
