Hi, I'm Sonia! I'm a qualified English and Chinese Teacher, with over six years of teaching experience across K–12 schools in NSW. 100% of my Year 12 students achieved Band 6 (or E4) results (90%+) in both 2024 and 2025 in Chinese Continuers and Extension courses. In addition, I have over five years of experience as an HSC examiner for Chinese Extension, where I assess student responses against curriculum standards, maintain reliability and validity in high-stakes testing, and strengthen marking consistency. I completed a Master's in Linguistics at the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Education / Arts (Honours First Class) from the University of Sydney. I recently relocated to Victoria, where I am currently working as a Chinese teacher at an independent school.
