Hi, I'm Emmanuel. I achieved a Band 6 in HSC Legal Studies with a mark of 92, ranking first in my course and graduating with the second-highest ATAR at my school. I'm now in my third year of a Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) degree at the University of New South Wales. I tutor Year 11 and 12 Legal Studies students online, one-on-one. My approach is built around two things: a thorough first-session diagnostic, and weekly sessions that target whatever will move your marks the most that week. How sessions work: The first session is a diagnostic. We walk through your current standing across the NESA syllabus, look at your most recent marked work and assessments, and identify the specific gaps that are costing you marks. By the end of session one you'll have a clear picture of where you are, where you're aiming, and what the next three to four sessions will focus on. From there, sessions are adapted week to week to whatever is most urgent: an upcoming assessment, a topic your school is currently teaching, a draft response that needs work, or a syllabus area where your recall is weak. This is deliberate. Legal Studies students don't fail because they don't know content. They lose marks because their extended responses don't structure legislation, cases, and media into a coherent argument under time pressure. The work changes week to week because the gap changes week to week.
