Hi! My name is Sanya Dhingra and I am currently studying Health and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Adelaide with a strong interest in genetics, neuroscience, and psychology. I have previous experience as a freelance tutor, helping students improve their understanding, confidence, and academic performance in subjects such as English, Biology, General Science, and Maths. Throughout school, my strongest subjects were Biology, English, and Science-based subjects, and I have always enjoyed explaining concepts in a simple and engaging way. I understand that every student learns differently, so I focus on adapting my teaching style according to the student’s pace and needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. My teaching style is supportive, interactive, and structured. I like breaking down difficult concepts into smaller, easier steps and helping students genuinely understand the “why” behind topics instead of only memorising answers. I also provide practice questions, revision techniques, assignment support, and exam strategies to help students feel more prepared and confident. As a tutor, my goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to create a comfortable environment where they feel encouraged to ask questions and enjoy learning. Whether a student needs help catching up, staying ahead, or building confidence in a subject, I aim to make lessons productive, motivating, and stress-free.
