About

I recently completed one year of physical theatre training at Jacques Lecoq school in Avignon, France and I am currently developing my own multidisciplinary solo project combining hula hooping, songwriting, cabaret, dance, and physical theatre. I am also working towards recording my first EP. My teaching style is definitely fun, creative, and engaging. I want my students to genuinely enjoy the lesson and feel connected to what we are learning. I believe students learn best when they are interested in and truly passionate about the subjects we explore through reading, writing, conversation, music, and storytelling. I aim to create a fluid and relaxed learning process where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and building confidence naturally. In French lessons, I also place a strong focus on pronunciation, as it can be one of the more challenging aspects of this language. Through conversation, listening exercises, songs, and repetition, I help students develop clearer pronunciation and feel more confident speaking French out loud. The subjects that I was deeply focused on were French, English, and artistic subjects. I would be so honoured to be your tutor and I am excited to meet you!

Education

I went to swiss public school and then went to private school at the age of 10 where I was put in an only english speaking class as my mother wanted me to learn english (she is half american). I was then in this school for a few years and then at the age oof 15/16 I went to a perfroming arts school in the UK. I then studied media and communications at University in South east London. I have always loved to teach languages, especially private tutoring. With a background in performing arts, I love bringing creativity and expression into my French lessons. I tailor each class to the individuality and interests of my students, making learning engaging, dynamic, and fun. Through storytelling, reading and writing activities, songs and music, theatre, and plays, I aim to create an immersive experience that helps students connect with the language naturally and confidently.
