I am currently working as a Project Manager at Curtin University after moving from Ireland to Perth in 2025. Before this, I spent seven years teaching Biology, Science, and Physical Education at Santa Sabina Dominican College in Dublin, Ireland, alongside private tutoring and tutoring school experience. I graduated with First Class Honours degree in PE and Biology teaching from Dublin City University in 2016, and my strongest subjects have always been Biology and Science. I also worked in higher education as a Science and Biology school placement tutor for student teachers at Hibernia College and as an Academic Author, supporting and assessing trainee teachers during their classroom placements and designing online teacher-training learning content. This experience strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt teaching approaches to different learners. My teaching style is supportive, structured, and student-focused. I aim to build confidence, improve understanding, and help students develop strong exam technique and study habits. I tailor lessons to each student’s goals, learning style, and current level. As a tutor, I can help students with: Understanding difficult Biology and Science concepts Exam preparation and technique Assignment support and revision planning Building confidence and motivation Developing effective study habits and organisation skills My goal is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are supported to achieve their best.
