99+ ATAR | 49/50 English Extension I (~Top 30 in State) | 94/100 English Advanced | HSC All-Rounder TAKING IN EAGER YEAR 11 AND 12 STUDENTS ‼️‼️ Hello, I'm Marko and I'm a recent graduate of Oakhill College in Castle Hill, having achieved a 99.10 ATAR, and currently studying a Bachelor of Law/Commerce at UNSW. The cornerstone of my academic success which I wish to impart upon anyone I tutor is the standard, efficiency and holistic mindset which it takes to perform among the top 1% of students. I was named a HSC All-Rounder with results in the following subjects: English Advanced - 94/100 (2nd Place out of 198) → TEXTS: George Orwell, 1984; T.S Eliot; Shakespeare, King Richard III English Extension I - 49/50 (1st Place; ~ Top 30 in State) → NOTE: My specialisation is in the 'Literary Worlds of Upheaval' elective. Economics - 93/100 (2nd Place out of 64) Society & Culture - 93/100 (1st Place out of 29) Studies of Religion - 48/50 (4th out of 331) Mathematics Advanced (Accelerated in 2024) - 97/100 (6th out of ~90) Mathematics Extension I (Accelerated in 2024) - 46/50 [+ 98th percentile score in LAT] Throughout the years, I've been more of a specialist in humanities: it is my passion to empower my students to develop the ability to think, read and write critically; to develop an appreciation for an aptitude in communication, at a sophisticated level. As evident in my results, my specialised knowledge in this area becomes invaluable when accounting for my completion of the HSC last year; I am deeply in tune with the current syllabus, and what teachers are *truly* looking for. I know what it takes to stand out of a cohort of hundreds, and even more importantly, in the state - when an experienced HSC marker picks up a pen to mark your writing for the first time. In my specialised areas of English Advanced and English Extension I (alongside Economics, Religion and S&C), I offer weekly sessions with: → Providing regular academic feedback for students; → Assisting with exam preparation, homework, assignments; → Deconstructing my own exemplar works, particularly critical essays (all subjects), creative pieces, short answers (all subjects), with a focus on the HSC syllabus; → Sharing my optimised study techniques and methods; - RATES - Year 11: $70 Year 12: $80 I'm a big believer in all-round success, and finding the unity between every academic discipline and field of knowledge.
