Hello, I am a former university lecturer of Physics who is very passionate about education. I have done tutoring in Maths and Sciences for over 10 years, I have been a teaching assistant at the university level, and I have had the pleasure of designing my own university Astronomy class, including all exams, lectures and problem sets. I love helping students break through their understanding of Maths and Sciences. While at university I had given guided tours to the general public in Astronomy and helped them use a large telescope to see the planets and their moons. I have most enjoyed helping non-scientific people understand scientific concepts. I am also fluent in French; I attended a French primary school in Canada and I can speak Spanish at an intermediate level. I have played the piano with the Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada and achieved a grade 10 level, including sight reading and ear training. I have 2 years of experience teaching piano. For my PhD I had to do a lot of computer programming, so I am happy to help anyone studying coding or information technology. My programming languages include FORTRAN 90, C, Python, and Bash.
