I'm currently completing the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney after graduating from the University of Melbourne with First Class Honours. I was awarded scholarships throughout both degrees, graduated high school with an IB score of 44/45 (ATAR equivalent 99.85), placed 1st in English Literature, and later scored in the 99th percentile of GAMSAT. While academic results are important, they are only part of the story. Throughout high school, university, and medical school, I've learnt that the students who perform consistently well aren't necessarily the smartest, they're the ones who know how to learn effectively, manage their time, and study with purpose. Rather than simply explaining content, I work as both a tutor and a mentor. My goal is to help students build the confidence, habits, and critical thinking skills they need to become independent learners long after our lessons conclude. ✅ Evidence-Based Techniques I incorporate proven learning strategies such as active recall, spaced repetition, and framework building practice into every lesson. ✅ Learning How to Learn One of the biggest reasons students plateau is because they don't know how to study independently. I teach practical systems for note-taking, revision, exam preparation, essay planning, and problem solving so students can continue improving between lessons. ✅ Mentorship Beyond the Classroom I also mentor students for selective high school exams or those interested in competitive university pathways including medicine and dentistry. I enjoy helping students navigate subject selection, university applications, and long-term academic planning. With more than 5 years of tutoring experience from primary to university-level subjects, I am confident that I can help my students understand and retain knowledge in a way that suits their unique learning style.
