Hi, I’m Isaac, currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Mechanical) at the University of Sydney. I graduated high school and sat the HSC in 2025 at St Patrick's College Strathfield. In the HSC, my marks were: - Mathematics Advanced (accelerated, sat HSC in 2024): 93/100 (B6) - Mathematics Extension 1: 45/50 (B6) - Music 2: 92/100 (B6) - Note 15/15 Core Composition that was nominated for ENCORE. - Physics: 89/100 (B5) - Studies of Religion 1: 45/50 (B6) - English Advanced: 89/100 (B5) I tutor HSC Mathematics (Standard, Advanced, Extension 1), Physics, and Music (1 and 2), and 7-10 Mathematics, Science, and Music, with a particular focus on helping students build a genuine understanding of the content rather than relying on memorisation. My teaching style is centred on explaining why concepts work and how to apply them, so students develop confidence and can tackle unfamiliar questions independently. Once students have a solid understanding, I move into targeted practice. I use questions that reflect the style and difficulty of HSC and school exams, along with more challenging and abstract problems, so that students feel well prepared and find their actual exams more manageable. As a tutor, I can help with: - Explaining difficult topics and revising content students are struggling with - Guiding through homework, assignments and exam preparation - Providing structured notes, resources and practice questions - Giving detailed solutions and showing efficient problem-solving methods - Developing exam technique and confidence I offer both online and in-person tutoring. For in-person sessions, I am happy to meet at a local library or another convenient location.
