About

Hi! My name is Min, and I’ll be your dedicated empathetic assistant in making sure your child can academically shine! Having personally experienced low marks in high school (particularly in Maths), I know what it feels like to feel super discouraged on doing assignments and preparing for exams. To get over this, I doubled-down, relearning all of my topics over the holidays to build solid foundations for upcoming school years, and came to achieve an ATAR of 92.05. Fast forward to now, and I have been accepted to Oxford and Cambridge for my PhD in Politics to use quantitative methods to help explain political phenomena. I know that if I can do it, your child can too! Drawing on this experience, I aim to be a great teacher who can explain again and again in different ways on a concept til your child’s lightbulb finally goes ‘ding!’ and they feel that rush of relief and excitement of ‘getting it’. I have experience teaching as a Primary English tutor for Years 1-6, and taught undergraduates as a Teaching Assistant at university-level. I can also offer mentorship and career advice to those looking to study abroad. Feedback and unlimited revisions of written work (up to 2000 words) are $45 per work. This is offered in cases where the student is not available for hourly tutoring but is instead seeking guidance on assignments, HSC prep or college applications. This service is available at no extra cost to ordinary students as part of the out-of-class assistance package. Group tuition also available at $40 per additional student. Hope to meet you soon!
