Hi! My name is Tanya and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce (Majoring in Business Law and Economics) with an Assured Pathway to the Juris Doctor at UWA. I graduated from Rossmoyne Senior High School in 2025 with an ATAR of 97.95. My ATAR subjects included Economics, Accounting and Finance, Chemistry, French (accelerated), English, and Maths Methods. My strongest subjects were Economics and Accounting and Finance. In Economics, I achieved a final mark of 91% and was awarded the Year 12 Economics ATAR Award (Rank 1). In Accounting and Finance, I achieved a final mark of 88%. As a recent graduate myself I understand the Accounting and Economics ATAR syllabus in depth, and understand how important it is to understand the core concepts of each topic rather than just trying to memorise content. My teaching style is very structured and exam-focused, as I know how important technique and question interpretation are for ATAR subjects. I like to break down difficult concepts into simple steps, go through lots of practice questions, and teach students how to structure their answers to maximise marks. As a tutor, I can help with understanding difficult topics, improving exam technique, working through past papers, and creating structured notes. I also aim to help students feel more confident about Economics and Accounting ATAR by providing clear explanations and a supportive learning environment.
