Hi, my name is Pat, and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Mathematics/Statistics at the University of Queensland. I graduated from Villanova College (Coorparoo) in 2025 and achieved a 90 in Specialist Maths, 94 in Math Methods and 99 in Study of Religion. In high school, I discovered the importance of finding new ways and methods to learn content to help me achieve the best possible results I could. I believe that each different person has their own way of learning and I aim to help the students I tutor to discover that. As an AFL player, my coaches taught me the value of organisation and time management and striving to maximise the opportunities given to me. I learned how to best balance my sporting endeavours, social life and academic studies through my years of high school. I am organised, motivated and a hard worker, and am excited to help people to maximise their potential. As an AFL coach, I learnt how to manage and teach kids on the best way to move forward through challenges and obstacles. My time as a coach has helped me to learn how to best relate to others and how different each person can be in the way they learn. It has been an invaluable experience in developing my abilities. These are the subjects I studied in Year 12 in 2025 and the marks I achieved in them: Specialist Maths - A Mathematical Methods - A Study of Religion - A English - A Modern History - A Economics - B I am confident in my abilities to tutor both Specialist Maths and Math Methods as well as Study of Religion. Given my success in these subjects last year I bring numerous different strategies that I used to best achieve in these subjects. I also recommend setting up a regular weekly timetable, as consistent sessions help students stay accountable and allow me to plan lessons that effectively support their progress and goals. The methods I used to learn these concepts, along with collaborating with peers to deepen my understanding, place me in a strong position to support your child. Having studied the same content within the ATAR system, I can provide clear, up-to-date, and relatable guidance while tailoring lessons to their needs.
