Hi! I'm Yashar. I have recently graduated Year 12 and am currently studying a Bachelor of Criminology and a Bachelor of Forensic Science at UTS. I have been recognised as an HSC High Achiever, particularly for Band 6's in Legal Studies and Music 1, high Band 5's in Maths Std2 and Studies of Religion 1, and Band 5's in the rest of my subjects. I aim to teach by avoiding providing mountains of information, but rather according to the formula of the HSC and the Syllabus to cover all necessary areas required for achieving satisfactory marks. I prefer to engage with students and encourage lots of applied practice to identify strong and weak areas until every part of the syllabus is to their advantage. I will source questions, practice exam papers, my own Year 12 resources, notes and papers and take students through them all to give them an idea of what is expected come the final HSC exams. Using my own resources, I will provide the examples that worked best for me while also carefully showing students how to apply them as well as their own knowledge to form the best responses possible. I will do my best to give prompt and effective feedback both during and outside of tutoring hours to ensure students have the best chances of scoring great marks in their exams to come. I would also be available to contact for any questions about the work at any time, and will do my best to get to it as quickly as I can.
