Hello all, my name is Tom and I am offering to tutor high school and primary school students. I am a 2023 graduate of Brisbane Grammar School and a current student at The University of Queensland, where I study Chemical Engineering. The subjects that I am offering to tutor are: Chemistry, Biology, Mathematical Methods and English. I have ~2.5 years of tutoring experience with students from grade 5 to grade 12. My experience informs the advice and help I give for homework, assignments and exam study. I will not only show students the correct techniques for solving problems, but guide them into being able to solve complex problems on their own. My goal is to heighten their confidence in their own abilities and ensure they are comfortable tackling the academic challenges they come across. I live in Hamilton and I'm happy to travel to you or to a central meeting point (e.g. library). Online tutoring is also an option.
