With nine years of experience in secondary education, I currently teach at a leading independent school in Sydney and hold a Master of Secondary Education and a Master of Special and Inclusive Education. I provide subject tutoring in English, History and Geography, including HSC English Standard and Advanced, Modern History and Ancient History. I also support students with literacy, written expression, executive functioning, organisation, study skills and assessment planning. My experience includes working with students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia and other diverse learning profiles, as well as gifted and high-potential learners. Support is tailored to each student’s schoolwork, strengths and goals, whether they need help understanding subject content, structuring an assessment, preparing for an examination or developing more effective learning habits. Sessions combine clear and explicit instruction, scaffolded writing support, assessment guidance and practical study strategies. I help students organise their ideas, analyse texts and sources, construct strong written responses, manage complex tasks and become more confident and independent learners. Every session is personally planned and delivered by me in a calm, encouraging and structured online environment. Where appropriate, I also provide families with a brief update on the student’s progress and recommended next steps.
