My name is Ashar and I am a medical student with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students achieve their best. I completed the 2025 HSC with an Atar of 98.65 and external Band 6 results in Chemistry, English Advanced, Mathematics Advanced, Mathematics Extension 1, and Mathematics Extension 2. I currently tutor: - Chemistry - Mathematics Advanced - Mathematics Extension 1 - General Math (Grade 7-12) These are subjects I genuinely enjoy and performed strongly in, and I understand both the content and the exam techniques required to succeed. My teaching style focuses on breaking complex concepts into simple, logical steps that are easy to understand and apply. I believe that once students truly understand the “why” behind a concept, confidence and marks naturally improve. I tailor my explanations to each student’s learning style, whether that involves visual breakdowns, structured notes, worked examples, or exam-style practice questions. As a tutor, I aim to not only improve grades but also build confidence, independent thinking, and strong study habits. I can help students with syllabus content mastery, exam preparation, internal assessments, and effective problem-solving strategies to maximise HSC performance. I am approachable, patient, and committed to helping each student reach their full potential.
