I graduated from Sydney Boys High School in 2024, which proudly returned to the top 10, ranking 9th in this year’s HSC. I am offering online tutoring via zoom for Math Extension 2, Math Extension 1, Math Advanced, Math Standard 2, Physics, Chemistry and Music 2 for students in Year 11 and 12, and also tutoring Maths, Science and Music for students in Years 7-10. My approach to tutoring goes beyond traditional rote learning. I aim to reflect the pleasure and satisfaction I had for studying the science and math subjects, to inspire and foster a genuine passion for each subject. In doing so, I hope to change learning to become something that is exhilarating and exciting. Over the course of high school, I have always produced results, awarded as DUX in Year 7 (2019) and Year 8 (2020). In doing so, I have learnt valuable skills, habits and study approaches that have helped me to not only maintain my performance, but also adapt to changing workloads and responsibilities. These habits and skills are just as crucial, if not more, for attaining high marks even when stress levels are at a high. My access to a large pool of resources, such as notes, practice questions, practice papers that will help to target all aspects of knowledge and skills is very helpful for learning.
