98.85 ATAR, former college captain of St Mary's Cathedral College, HSC All-Rounder (2025). 2 years tutoring experience. My name is Evan, and I am currently studying law/media at UNSW. Having just recently completed the HSC, I understand the great amount of stress placed on students, many of whom are dependent on a high ATAR to secure positions in prospective university courses, which are becoming increasingly difficult to attain. I would feel privileged to assist individuals going through such a strenuous period, both in developing the academic skills necessary for success and also the confidence to complete examinations to the best of their ability. I believe that my success in the HSC—I achieved an overall ATAR of 98.85, and was an academic all-rounder—was a byproduct of the support and passion of my teachers, and pride myself on mirroring this level of support when tutoring my clients. Beyond academics, I was the college captain of St Mary's Cathedral College Sydney, and used this role to develop the interpersonal skills necessary to appreciate the unique learning needs of students. I try to employ tailored learning strategies that support students of varying abilities, and take great pride in seeing students improve over time. I have been tutoring locally for over two years, and have experience working with students with learning difficulties. As such, I appreciate that many students struggle to confidently demonstrate their knowledge under intense exam conditions, and aim to provide strategies that help students remain composed under pressure.I also have a certified working with children's check.
