Hi everyone, my name is Samuel Chan. I am a 2025 alumnus of Brisbane Grammar School with multiple years of tutoring experience. As a recent graduate, I have a deep understanding of both the 2019 and 2025 QCAA syllabuses, allowing me to break down complex topics into smaller, more digestible chunks. As a strong believer in conceptual learning alongside consistent problem solving practice, I can help students build academic confidence and long-term understanding of topics.
During my time at Brisbane Grammar School, I was consistently awarded General Merit (top 10% of the academic cohort) and was also deeply engaged in co-curricular activities, serving as Prefect and competing as a member of the First VI Volleyball team.
My ATAR of 99.90 and UCAT score of 2330 have led me to be offered into Griffith University's highly competitive Bachelor of Medical Science (Provisional Entry into Doctor of Medicine). Although tutoring UCAT will not be a focus of mine, I would be happy to offer general tips and insights for students interested in pursuing medicine, dentistry or other clinical science pathways.
