I'm Jayden, studying Engineering and Computer Science at UNSW. I am an experienced tutor having supported students over the years to develop interest in their subjects and ensure strong results academically. I was able to reach my goals and acheive due to discipline, strategy and a proactive approach. Over the years, I have coached students both academically and in sport including martial arts and swimming and hence have a good understanding on student's perspective, mindset and their approach. My tutoring approach involves focusing on exam-preparation, focusing in key areas of development and working on gaps or confusion that students may have. I am results-driven and support students to plan, prioritise, prepare, revise and ensure that they are confident. To give insight into the foundation behind my tutoring approach, here is some background on my academic experience. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) at university. I am a recent graduate of Parramatta Marist High School in 2025 with an ATAR of 97.30, while serving as a House Captain, a role that strengthened my mentoring, leadership, and communication skills. My HSC results include Chemistry (91), Mathematics Extension 1 (93), Studies of Religion (94) and English Advanced (90), reflecting strong performance across both analytical and written subjects. Beyond the classroom, I wasa a National Finalist on two occasions for the F1 in Schools, developing high-level problem-solving, teamwork, and applied engineering skills under competitive pressure. I am also a former state level swimmer, as well as an accredited swim instructor and coach, reinforcing a disciplined, high performance mindset that I bring into every lesson. With over 2 years of tutoring experience across private and group settings, I work with students from Year 7 to Year 12, supporting both those building confidence and high achievers aiming for top bands. My tutoring style involves a highly focused approach with a strong emphasis on exam technique, marks maximisation, and efficient study strategies tailored to each student’s needs. I also hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and have extensive experience working with students in both one-on-one and group environments as both a tutor and swimming instructor.
