Hi! I’m Jacquelyn, a first year dental student at La Trobe University studying the Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) with a Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship. I completed the HSC in 2025, doing the subjects English Advanced, Mathematics Extension 1 and 2, Biology, Geography, and Chemistry. I like to teach in a personalised way for my students, catering to their learning style and interests to help achieve whatever goals it may be efficiently. As a tutor, I will help drill down the foundations to ensure core knowledge is achieved, and tackle hard topics and questions at the student’s pace. I like to simplify difficult concepts into easier, methodical thinking to help students grasp topics at a better and faster pace, thus establishing strong understanding and confidence. I can also assist with providing exam tips, study plans, and goal setting to help students achieve their goals smoothly. As someone who personally struggled to make their efforts equate to marks, I hope I can help students achieve academically, whilst still maintaining a balance between socials and studies.
