Hi, my name is Hamdy. I hold a bachelor’s, a Master’s, and a PhD degree in engineering. I have more than twenty years of teaching experience, including more than ten years as a casual academic at the University of Sydney. I am currently working as a high school math teacher at one of the top ranked schools in the western Sydney area. I am a highly resourceful, innovative, and enthusiastic educator who possesses a considerable amount of knowledge regarding contemporary teaching methods for high school, college and university students. A hard-working teacher who can teach students across wide age range, whilst at the same time encourage them to develop critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication skills in addition to problem-solving skills that will make them experts in a subject. A tutor with a genuine interest in educating others and has a life interest of being a part of his students’ success stories. I have extensive teaching experience in a range of engineering-based courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate students within a couple of universities. I have many years of experience running private tutoring sessions for students from the University of Sydney, UNSW, UTS, UWS, and Macquarie University. I have extensive experience teaching Mathematics for high school, college, and university students. I also have many years of experience teaching Arabic for English speaking students. I am teaching both MSA and the Egyptian dialect. While teaching, I am trying to make my students feel confident, which is the key to their success. I am also interested in bringing new approaches to the teaching of existing courses. My goal in teaching is to empower students to become leaders within their chosen field. For more than twenty years, I helped hundreds of students to conquer subjects they really believed would never pass and manage hurdles they did not imagine would never clear.
