Hi Everyone! My Name is Julian Chandrasekara, and I graduated from Brisbane State High School in the class of 2025 with an ATAR of 98.80 giving me direct entry into the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/ Master of Engineering degree I was interested in studying at the University Queensland. I’m looking forward to offer tutoring for students from Grade 3 to 12. My top 5 subjects in what my ATAR score was based of were Specialist Maths, Mathematical Methods, Chemistry, Physics and General English. My External Exam scores for each subject are as follows: Specialist Maths: 46/50 Mathematical Methods: 47/50 Chemistry: 48/50 Physics: 47/50 English: 24/25 My total scores for each subject are as follows: Specialist Maths: 94/100 Mathematical Methods: 94/100 Chemistry: 98/100 Physics: 98/100 English: 95/100 I acquired 100% in my internals for both Chemistry and Physics, External exam scores all greater than 90% and 93+ overall study scores in Year 12, all while balancing basketball sporting commitments, volunteering and an active, enjoyable social life. Starting from this year, I am tutoring Mathematics and English for students in Grade 3 to Grade 9, and I will additionally tutor Senior students, Grade 10 to 12, on the 5 subjects I studied myself. I am very passionate about teaching and after careful reflection from each assessment piece for all of my subjects, I hope I can aid each and every one of my students to achieve their dream ATAR, with my personal goal being to students in getting an ATAR score better than my own by sharing my past experiences, mistakes and successes during Year 12. Not only am I capable in teaching students new concepts for them to learn, understand and apply, but I can provide so much more, including my own notes, my own internal assessments, helpful resources I used, past papers, exam type questions ranging from SF, CF and CU, and additional worksheets if necessary for a greater in-depth understanding of a topic. I will also be open to online lessons via Zoom where I charge a cheaper fee of $45 per hour.
