If you would like tutoring but not all the texts match up, I’m able to tutor students for parts of the year (eg just for Sunset Boulevard or just for Argument Analysis), or do targeted SAC revision classes. I'll provide: - Tailored grammar notes for consolidation - Drills for tricky VCAA grammar patterns - Rigorous practice, with assigned weekly homework outside of class - Guide to common pitfalls and how to avoid them - Techniques to maximise your translation marks in accordance to VCE standards - Unlimited out-of-class assistance 🍎 𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥 𝟳-𝟭𝟬 𝗧𝗨𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 🍎 Classes will follow a year-long structure, intending to accelerate students’ learning to give them a solid foundation for VCE. I intend to model this class structure against the VCE syllabus but tailored to students’ current skill levels, targeting the four areas of: - Grammar, with tailored grammar notes and exercises - Unseen translation, with access to my bank of translation passages - Poetic analysis, with tailored poetry notes and sample responses - Aeneid and essay writing, with sample essays and techniques which helped me score 20/20 on the final exam essay ⭐️ 𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 (𝗔𝗠𝗖) 𝗖𝗢𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 ⭐️ The AMC is a rewarding way for students to enrich their understanding of maths. Drawing upon my maths olympiad background, I hope to instil students with maths skills which are not only relevant for the competition itself, but also very helpful for scholarship and selective exams, and overall success in high school maths.
