Hi! I’m an experienced high school teacher with 10 years of teaching experience in NSW, specialising in PDHPE (Years 7–12) and Community and Family Studies (CAFS). I’ve also taught Years 7–10 PDHPE extensively and love helping students build confidence, improve results, and feel genuinely supported throughout the term.
What I’m studying now / professional background:
I’m a qualified teacher and have spent the past decade teaching PDHPE and CAFS across a range of year levels and student abilities. I stay up to date with syllabus requirements, assessment expectations, and the best ways to prepare for exams and school-based tasks.
What were my best subjects & marks (and what I bring to tutoring):
My strengths have always been in health, wellbeing, human development, and writing strong structured responses. I help students understand exactly what NESA wants and how to respond in a way that earns top marks—especially in short-answer and extended responses.
My teaching style:
My approach is friendly, calm, and structured. I break content down into simple steps, then help students practise and apply it until they feel confident. I focus on:
- clear explanations (no confusing overload)
- step-by-step skill building
- exam-style practice and feedback
- building motivation and confidence
How I can help you as a tutor:
Whether you’re aiming to pass, improve your grades, or push for Band 5/6, I can support you with:
✅ PDHPE content mastery (Years 7–12)
✅ CAFS content + case studies + key syllabus areas
✅ assessment task support (planning, structure, marking feedback)
✅ exam preparation (short answers, extended responses, timing, scaffolds)
✅ writing strong PEEL/TEEL paragraphs and high-scoring responses
✅ study plans, summary notes, and effective revision strategies
I look forward to helping you feel more confident and achieve your best results!
