My name is Samuel Walker and I am currently studying a Double Degree at ANU, with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Arts (Majoring in English and Minoring in International Relations). Graduating in 2026, I achieved an ATAR of 98. My strongest subjects are humanities - all levels of English, Modern History, History Extension. I received a 95/100 in English Advanced, 49/50 in English Extension 1 and 50/50 in English Extension 2, where I was also selected for publication in the Young Writers Showcase for the most outstanding English Major Works of the HSC cohort. Over my high school years, I have also been an editor of the Student Newsletter and was both part of and successful in various writing competitions and publications. This experience has allowed me to gain a strong understanding of fundamental and refined skills across both creative and critical writing that will be further developed in my university level study of English. I am also capable of tutoring Biology, Studies of Religion and Mathematics Standard. As an experiences tutor for two years, I look forward to working with students across all levels and learning styles. From project based learning to exam preparations, I ensure that students gain the confidence and the skills to reach their full potential. Additionally, I assist students with organisation skills to develop study schedules, as this is often the foundation of academic success.
