My name is Massimo, I am 21 years old, and I have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany. I attended the German School of Milan and speak German and Italian as my native languages, along with fluent English. I did not always find mathematics easy. In my early school years, I struggled with the subject, but from Year 9 onwards I developed a strong interest and began to truly understand its logic and importance. Having experienced these challenges myself, I am able to relate closely to my students and explain concepts in a clear, patient, and accessible way, helping them build confidence and enjoy learning. I have been tutoring for over eight years and have supported more than ten students across different stages of their education. My focus is on genuine understanding rather than short-term memorisation for exams. I want students to retain their knowledge, apply it independently, and feel confident tackling new and unfamiliar problems. I believe learning is most effective when students actively work through problems themselves, using paper or digital tools. I place particular emphasis on sketches and visual explanations, which help make abstract ideas more concrete and easier to understand. A key goal of my tutoring is to develop students’ independence so they can achieve strong results without ongoing support. In addition to mathematics, I also offer language support. I can teach Italian and German, particularly for conversational practice and maintaining fluency, and I am happy to help with basic conversation in French and Spanish. My aim is to equip students with the right knowledge, strategies, and confidence to succeed both academically and beyond.
