I achieved a Band 6 in English Advanced and an E4 in English Extension 1. In Economics, I achieved a final HSC mark of 96, including a 97 exam mark, and in Business Studies I achieved a final HSC mark of 98. These subjects were my strongest areas and ones I genuinely enjoy teaching. As a recent graduate, I’m very familiar with the current syllabus and exam requirements, and I understand exactly what HSC markers are looking for in high-scoring responses. I tutor English for all year levels, and Economics and Business Studies for Years 11 and 12. My teaching style is structured but supportive, with a strong focus on exam technique, clear writing, and applying content effectively under exam conditions rather than ROTE memorisation. I tailor each lesson to the student’s level and goals, whether that’s strengthening foundations, lifting band ranges, or preparing for assessments and exams. Students I work with also receive access to tailored resources, detailed homework and assessment feedback, and 24/7 SMS support for any questions or clarification between sessions. My aim is to make content feel clear and manageable by breaking down complex ideas into simple steps, providing worked examples, and helping students build strong study habits so they can perform confidently on their own. My rates are $70 per hour for in-person tutoring and $60 per hour for online sessions. I’m happy to adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles and needs.
