About
Hi, I’m Ajeet, a Mechanical Engineering student and passionate tutor who enjoys helping students understand challenging subjects and build real confidence in their abilities.
I graduated from Normanhurst Boys High School, where I developed a strong interest in maths and problem-solving. In the HSC I achieved 86 in Maths Advanced, 93 in Engineering Studies, and 91 in Physics. These subjects naturally led me into studying Mechanical Engineering, where I continue to use mathematics and physics every day.
I tutor Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Studies for students from Year 7 to Year 12, including those preparing for the HSC. My goal as a tutor is not just to help students complete homework, but to make sure they genuinely understand the concepts behind what they are learning.
My teaching style focuses on breaking difficult ideas into simple, clear steps. Many students struggle in these subjects because concepts start to build up quickly. I help students slow things down, understand the foundations, and then apply that knowledge to more difficult problems. Once the concept clicks, we practise with exam-style questions so students feel prepared and confident in tests.
During lessons, I usually:
Review school content or homework
Explain key concepts in an easy-to-understand way
Work through practice questions together
Teach problem-solving strategies used in exams
Help students avoid common mistakes
I aim to create a supportive and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my explanations and pace to suit each individual.
Whether a student wants to improve their marks, prepare for exams, strengthen their understanding, or stay ahead in class, I’m committed to helping them achieve their goals and feel more confident in maths and science subjects.
