Kate E.

I am a second-year University of Sydney student in Education studying primary education, with one year worth of tutoring experience. I also work as a Japanese teaching assistant, and tour guide for Japanese groups. I have a near-native level of Japanese proficiency, having grown up in a Japanese speaking parent and attending an Japanese international primary school. In the HSC I achieved a Band 6 in Japanese continuers and E4 in Japanese extension, and I hold the HSC a JLPT N1 (the highest level of the Japanese proficiency test). I am experienced in teaching exam techniques including, listening, reading and writing, and work hard to tailor my lesson to the student’s individual needs.
