Hi! I'm Abiel Santos. 3rd Year University Student at the University of Sydney, currently studying a Bachelors of Secondary Education and Advanced Studies in Mathematics. Current teachers aide St Andrews Marayong (2+ years), and online tutor (as in, on discord on ConquerHSC or HWH, for 4+ years). Available for maths tutoring help for Year 7 to Year 12 (HSC). Will assist on student homework, covering various maths topics, exam preparation. Prefer in-person, but can do online tutoring. Unfortunately I cannot accept students who attend St Andrews College Marayong. I believe the hardest part about mathematics is getting used to the rules and formalities that are present within each topic. In order to be successful at maths, students need to have a firm understanding of a topic as well be daring enough to propose creative solutions to difficult topics. As a tutor, my job will be to help support the student by ensuring that they can understand the why and hows of maths. The key to getting better at maths is to have patience, to be persistent, and to not be intimidated by difficult and daunting topics. Achievements: 100 in Maths Advanced (State Rank #9, Accelerated) 97 in Maths Extension I (Band E4) 95 in Maths Extension II (Band E4) 2023 Dux of St Andrews (96.9 ATAR) HD average across maths subjects
