I’ve always enjoyed helping students understand difficult concepts and feel more confident in their learning. I have been working as a tutor since November 2023, supporting high school students across a range of ability levels. My strongest subjects are mathematics and chemistry, and I performed consistently well in these areas throughout high school and university. I understand the curriculum, common problem areas, and what examiners are looking for. My teaching style is patient, clear, and structured. I break topics down step by step and explain concepts in a way that makes sense, rather than relying on memorisation. I adapt each lesson to suit how the student learns and focus on building strong foundations. As a tutor, I help students improve their understanding, confidence, and results in maths and chemistry. This includes exam preparation, homework help, revision, and learning effective problem-solving techniques. I also teach study skills and strategies to help students approach assessments calmly and efficiently. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and leave each session feeling more confident and capable.
